Dear Friends and Colleagues,
The Association of Hispanic School Administrators (AHSA) Scholarship Fund cordially invites you and your company to attend and underwrite our annual Noche de Las Estrellas Scholarship Awards and Fundraiser Banquet, which will be held at the Crystal Ballroom in the Rice Hotel in Houston, Texas on June 6, 2019. The Banquet is the organization’s culminating event of the year and celebrates the academic achievements and accomplishments of our scholarship recipients.
The AHSA Scholarship Fund is a voluntary 501(c)3 non-profit organization comprised of Houston Independent School District cabinet level administrators and specialists, campus principals, administrators, and instructional leaders, as well as aspiring administrators who embody or have interests in advocating the needs of the Hispanic community. The AHSA Scholarship Fund is one of the largest non-profit organizations of Hispanic administrators in the Houston area advocating for Hispanic concerns in education and representing the interests of nearly 140,000 students. A portion of the proceeds from your tax deductible contribution to the AHSA Scholarship Fund will help to provide scholarships for future recipients and enhance the programming efforts of our organization.
Enclosed is information on becoming an underwriter. Your generous support of this year’s Scholarship Awards and Banquet will help fund scholarships and programs in furtherance of the AHSA Scholarship Fund’s mission.
Please join us in celebrating the achievements of our scholarship recipients and helping us to expand opportunities for our members and our community. Thank you for your consideration and continued commitment to diversity in our community. We look forward to seeing you at the Banquet.
Sincerely,
Gerardo Leal Chair, Banquet Committee
