AHSA Higher Education
Scholarship
AHSA is committed to providing educational opportunities for Hispanic Houston ISD seniors entering their first year of college in the Fall of 2019 and pursuing a degree in education. AHSA also provides scholarships for Hispanic Houston ISD educators pursuing a master's or doctorate degree in education.
All applicants are expected to enroll in a full academic course of study and attend an accredited college for the 2019-20 academic year.
Successful candidates are selected on criteria as determined by an assessment of educational achievement in high school, financial need, personal qualities and strengths as revealed in a required personal statement and interview.
AHSA Senior Student Scholarship
The Association of Hispanic School Administrators is providing scholarships for Hispanic Houston ISD seniors entering their first year of college and pursuing a degree in education. Applicants are expected to enroll in a full academic course of study and attend an accredited college.
Successful candidates will be selected on criteria as
determined by an assessment of academic achievement
in high school, financial need, personal qualities and
strengths as revealed in a required personal statement
and interview.

Scholarship
The Association of Hispanic School Administrators is providing (1) scholarship for a Female Hispanic Houston ISD senior who is a "teen mom" entering her first year of college. The applicant may pursue a degree OTHER THAN education. Applicants are expected to enroll in a full academic course of study and attend an accredited college.
Successful candidates will be selected on criteria as
determined by an assessment of academic achievement
in high school, financial need, personal qualities and
strengths as revealed in a required personal statement
and interview.
The Association of Hispanic School Administrators is providing scholarships for Hispanic HoustonISD educators (not currently in administrator positions) pursuing a master's or doctorate degree in education. Applicants are expected to have a minimum of 2 years in Houston ISD. Recipients must enroll and attend an accredited college.
Successful candidates will be selected on criteria as
determined by an assessment of personal qualities and
strengths as revealed in a required personal statement
and interview.
*NEW* AHSA Teacher Assistant
Scholarship
The Association of Hispanic School Administrators is providing scholarships for Hispanic Houston ISD teacher assistants pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in education. Applicants are expected to have worked a minimum of 2 years in Houston ISD. Recipients must enroll and attend an accredited college.
Successful candidates will be selected on criteria as
determined by an assessment of personal qualities and
strengths as revealed in a required personal statement
and interview.
